HLTV reveals: Astralis is considering replacing HooXi and jabbi

The Danish organization are actively pursuing a two-player change with immediate effect. Multiple sources have told HLTV that Astralis are on the market for replacements for HooXi and jabbi.

The timing of this potential roster move will likely surprise many people, as Astralis only just won Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona on Saturday, ending a nearly seven-year drought without an offline title.

HLTV has learned that Astralis are taking steps to avoid losing the core of their lineup for nothing, with the contracts of HooXi, jabbi, and Staehr all nearing expiry.

HLTV has learned that jabbi's contract expires at the end of November, while HooXi is signed through the end of the year. Staehr signed an extension with Astralis in March 2025, “through 2027.” Sources say that talks between the Danish organization and the players have reached an impasse, with siuhy among the players on Astralis' shortlist. He recently left Liquid after spending three months on the bench. The former MOUZ in-game leader is looking for a new challenge to revive his career after an underwhelming spell with the North American side. Following their title win in Barcelona, Astralis broke into the global VRS top 10 and, according to HLTV's latest projections, have all but secured a spot at the PGL Singapore Major. Astralis did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
