kassad picks the Salary Stealers; BIG CEO defends tabseN: He is one of the best players

kassad shared his view of the professional CS scene, naming a "Salary Stealers" five and one "honorable mention"—the five biggest "Salary Stealers" in CS2 right now. I like some of them. I respect what some of them have achieved. But if your salary says you're a superstar while your performances say otherwise, I'm going to call it out. Five players, plus one honorable mention.

In his view, the Salary Stealers, ranked from fifth to first, are—NAF, 老霸, tabseN, electroNic, and cadiaN—with an honorable mention for HooXi. None of these five has lived up to the expectations attached to their salaries.

BIG's CEO speaks up for tabseN:

I disagree with @kassad's view here—although I respect his critical opinions on many other topics, and I have known him personally since my time with MOUZ in 2016. I have worked with @tabseNcs for nearly 10 years. Johannes has always been one of the first people to step up for BIG during difficult times.Over the years, he could have joined other major organizations on multiple occasions, where he likely would have earned many times his current salary. But he always turned them down.With Johannes, it has always been direct conversations between him and us, with no agents involved.He would rather take a pay cut to help make transfers or new signings happen, simply because he wants BIG to succeed.More than anyone else at BIG, he is one of the main reasons BIG still exists today. And I want to make this clear: he is absolutely not someone who collects a paycheck without contributing. For him, the team and the club always come first. Having a player like that at the club is a gift, not a burden. And after 10 years, he is still a very important player for our team.So if there were a list of the most loyal players in CS2 worldwide, @tabseNcs would certainly be on it.
