NFINITE have parted ways with Dytor and are looking for a new fifth player

BUFFAssistant

INFINITE have officially ended Dytor’s contract, making the 23-year-old rifler a free agent. After a stretch of inconsistent form, INFINITE are now searching for a new fifth player.

“He has been an important part of our journey as we chased international success,” INFINITE wrote on X. “From today, he becomes a free agent, ready to take on new challenges. Thank you, Dytor. See you on the server.”

Dytor joined INFINITE earlier this year, when the team underwent a major rebuild and shifted from an all-Romanian lineup to an international roster. sl3nd and kreaz joined at the same time.

Soon after assembling the new lineup, the team put up strong results, taking three first-place finishes at United21 League Season 46, Parken Challenger Championship Season 5, and Esplay Elite Gaming Cup. Their global VRS ranking climbed as high as No. 35.

However, the team's results have recently dipped. They have fallen to the edge of the top 50 in the global VRS rankings and also missed out on qualification for several key offline qualifiers during that stretch.

INFINITE need to fill the vacant spot on their roster as soon as possible—they are set to face Liquid in the opening round of Logitech G Play Connect 2026 on September 18.
