Skin Customization Project #8: M4A1-S | 幽独
M4A1-S has been available in-game for a while now. Collectors who love the landscape scroll style have probably already picked up a few Youdu skins with different patterns, but this skin’s pattern variations include changes in both color and scenery, so individual skins can look very different. Different patterns for this skin also suit different loadouts. You can match them based on the terrain and visual features of each pattern—for example, a white-cloud pattern that runs in a line across the suppressor and the body of the gun:
This kind of auspicious cloud pattern is still fairly common. However, as shown in the image, for this skin, the handguard and stock both remain the same dark blue, and from the muzzle to the body, the white-blue-white color transition doesn't look very harmonious. So you can use decals to decorate the handguard area, adding white accents to make the overall look better.
Here, you can use 2022 RMRNorth to decorate the handguard. Place five North lions at random angles. The 2022 North lion is white and features a wavy blue background, which blends nicely with the deep blue of the handguard area. The randomly arranged lion motifs also look very similar to auspicious cloud patterns.
For this outfit, North lion's standard print is still the most suitable choice.
Holo:
The Holo version of North lion leans toward blue-violet, which doesn't match the overall color effect very well.
Shiny Version:
The shiny print reflects light from certain angles, showing relatively high brightness, but in most situations it still appears fairly dark, so its overall effect is not as good as that of a regular print.
sun pattern
This skin has a chance to feature suns in different colors, and it may also have a double sun, with one on the gun body and one on the silencer. You can choose different combinations based on the sun’s color and where it appears. Handmade emoticon sticker is just the right size to pair with the sun for crafting.
If the sun appears on the gun body, you can craft:
Laughing Sun
This is the sun kitty that stays happy fore...ver. For a redder color palette, you can choose the XD combo—the sun is grinning from ear to ear. You can also apply stickers to suppressors that happen to roll with a sun on them, but the sticker placement area on suppressors isn’t very large. If the sun appears over a larger area on the suppressor, you can choose to add an expression. This red sun looks like it’s blushing from smiling because it’s just too happy.

mountains and sky
Mountains have darker colors, and the visuals are relatively plain, so you can create some combinations based on the terrain features:
Soaring Strike
Use the Big Eagle sticker Legendary Eagle Master Easter Egg Wear to craft an eagle. Make several eagles and place them on the weapon body. This works for Sky and Mountain.
You can also craft these based on the mountain patterns:

This decal also has a version with a bright red lens (green on the CN server), so you can also use it to make:

Golden Eagle
Master Legendary Eagle's Holo version Easter egg is a golden eagle. Apply it to the golden mountain pattern and it becomes the golden eagle, with several golden eagle motifs arranged together on the gun body. The golden eagle soars through the sky!
Heavenly Fire

The color scheme of the golden mountain pattern and the color shifts of 2021 Holo Flame fall within a highly compatible color range, and the flame shape looks like a meteor falling from the sky. With several flames and a suitable golden mountain pattern, you can create the effect of heavenly fire descending.

There are also some templates that pair with foothills and waves to create a crashing-waves effect. You can make them based on foothills and waves:
Waves
You can use the stamp Tide to create waves 🌊, but the colors are quite saturated.
You can use other prints with similar colors to create a more abstract wave pattern:

Using NAF's shiny print, you can create an abstract wave effect between the sea spray and the foot of the mountain.
Special Template

On some pattern templates, the weapon’s parts stand out more clearly. The weapon body has many overlaid on the finish parts, and some stickers can be matched with the parts on the weapon body, such as this Pattern 53 skin:
Above the trigger are two tiny black model protrusions, like two dot eyes. On this skin template, for example, adding a little mustache turns it into an adorable Mr. Sun. This is also the limit position where the mustache sticker can be applied. The sticker Easter egg from scraping the mustache all the way down is very small, making it great for pairing.
And these two raised textures have highlights, with a 3D sticker paired with raised dot eyes.
Because the sun is positioned close to the player's viewpoint, it is also visible in the weapon viewmodel.
