Skin Makeover Plan #2: AK-47 | Inheritance
Last time, we went over some craft ideas for Recoil Elite. This time, let’s take a look at some combo recommendations for another popular AK skin, Inheritance.~
Berlin 2019 (Glitter)
The classic Berlin 2019 Stickers have a background by default, but the Glitter versions from this batch can be scraped cleanly to reveal the full autograph. On top of that, the signature still keeps a Glitter outline. So you can pick a few player Stickers, apply them, and scrape them down for the hidden effect. The black autograph with a white outline, plus that Glitter finish that looks like silver lining, pairs really well with the Inheritance.
Berlin 2019 (Gold)
The Gold autograph Sticker takes the Glitter version a step further. The metallic-looking signature turns into gold linework, which fits the look nicely. You can scrape this one down, though—around 80% scratched is the sweet spot.
Lotus
The Sticker that pairs best with Inheritance has to be Lotus. I previously picked up an Inheritance with Lotus Stickers that another player had dropped in a match, and it looked stunning. Using several Lotus Stickers and placing them randomly gives an even better result. Maybe the owner’s aim was just too good, because Lotus flowers were practically blooming all over the gun...
Snowflake ❄
Besides Lotus, the other Sticker that feels made for Inheritance is Snowflake. This Snowflake Sticker has a white Glitter finish, so it pairs really well with Inheritance’s white base.
Glitter Gold Web
The gold-threaded AK-47 | Inheritance pairs really well with ECSTATIC (Glitter) too. Since ECSTATIC is gold, you can go with five Glitter stickers and rotate them 90° in a patterned layout to create a shiny golden crown.
Golden Dragon Pattern
The Glitter version of Eternal Fire pairs nicely with the AK’s golden dragon detailing and the gold lines on the magazine. It’s a simple craft—just place all five in a row.
Lightning Strike
The standard version of the Elemental Lightning Strike Sticker is pale yellow, and it also pairs well with the white background.
paiN Series
23 paiN (Holo Redline)
The jelly-like color-shift effect of paiN Gaming | Paris 2023 is also a solid pick! The huge supply of Paris 2023 Stickers keeps the cost very low, and the color-shift design on these 2023 Stickers looks great. paiN shifts through warm tones, and if you apply five of them in an alternating front-back-front-back-front layout, you can create a red gradient line.
paiN (Paris 2023) | Glitter White Line
Some players don’t like Stickers that are too loud, since they can steal the spotlight, cover up the skin’s original design, and draw too much attention. Going back to basics is also a solid idea. The paiN Glitter Sticker from Paris 2023 has a white look that’s simple, but not plain.
FURIA Series
As everyone knows, FURIA is Valve's golden child. Pretty much every FURIA Sticker series looks great, and the color matching on FURIA Stickers from the last few Majors also works especially well on the Inheritance.
Macaron Panther
FURIA’s light pastel color palette pairs really well with the white weapon body. Even a standard 4x craft looks great here, so this setup is easy to put together.
Jade Panther
White Purple Panther
FURIA
Black Gradient Panther
Here’s another combo from the author: a red four-leaf clover craft made with Heartbreak and Maka.
About Charms:
Some of the best Charms for the blue-and-white AK-47 | Inheritance are Lil' Squirt, Diamond Dog, HooXi, Chicken, and Pop Art. Out of these, Lil' Squirt feels like it was made specifically for Inheritance.
