Skin Makeover Plan #3: AK-47 | Ice Coaled
Welcome to this issue of Skin Crafting! I’m sure plenty of you have had new skins drop, including this Wintergreen —thanks to its rarity (Mil-Spec Grade), it’s pretty easy to run into it in the Weekly Care Package GabeN prepared. This skin is bright and clean, with a solid-color body, so what stickers should you pair with it? Check out the craft ideas below~
AK-47 | Wintergreen
Ice Coaled has an overall metallic green shine with a slight frosted feel, while the handguard and stock use a dark-green wood-grain texture. So you can turn this big chunk of emerald into a “gold-inlaid jade” craft! You’ll need five Sticker | Stone Scales (Glitter) stickers. Sticker | Stone Scales (Glitter) has a gold shine, perfect for making the “gold” parts. Apply them evenly over the handguard as shown, and the gold-inlaid jade look is done!
The visible effect is very shiny and has a really premium look.
The regular Sticker | Stone Scales also has a cool-toned look, so you can use it to dress up the handguard too. Here’s how the regular Stone Scales version looks:
Besides the gold version, Gold Arabesque, there’s another option:
Grass-Green Gold-Inlaid Jade
You’ll need five copies of Sticker | Ancient Beast in the Glitter finish here. This sticker’s metallic sheen leans more grass-green/verdigris, giving players a few more options.
Hydra
For this multi-headed dragon pattern craft, you’ll need the new sticker FAMAS | Valence, with one large dragon and four small dragons. Use the large dragon as the head, then place the small dragons one by one behind it. Each small dragon has three dragon heads, so overlap the first head of the dragon behind onto the last head of the dragon in front.
AK-47 | Wild Lotus budget version

Players’ creativity has no limits! Before this skin came out, people were using Safari Mesh, Jungle Spray, and similar skins to imitate AK-47 | Wild Lotus, but those two are very pattern-dependent and the wear shows pretty clearly. Once this cleaner, more “pure” colorway appeared, you had another option—the solid colors on this skin do a better job of showing off the sticker craft. You’ll need five Galil AR | Rocket Pop: three arranged into a big flower, with the other two placed above and below the rifle body as extra plant elements.
But since this sticker is already discontinued and hard for players to get, are there any similar crafts you can make with other materials?

3DMAX version of Wild Lotus:
You’ll need five Perfect World Shanghai Major 20243DMAX stickers. Go with the newer Glitter finish for a better result. Use three Glitter finish stickers clustered together to make the big flower at the rear of the rifle, and place the other two in the center of the body. Scraped about 50-60%; the grooves on the model may affect how some parts scrape, so tweak it based on what looks best to you.
RMR Wild Lotus

He’s honestly a genius! Use the red Astralis | 2020 RMR to make the bright red flowers, use 9z Team for the purple flowers, and Sticker | Banana Police for the yellow pattern on the rifle. But Sticker | Banana Police can also be swapped for the more affordable NAVI. It’s got that high-imitation AK-47 | Fire Serpent vibe~
Shiny Green Arrow
There’s an AK-47 | Redline in the game, but no green line—so you can make one yourself, arrows included. Pick five Imperial Esports stickers, and go with the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 version: a bright emerald Glitter finish, plus it’s larger. Scrape off the logo, place them horizontally across the rifle at the angles shown, with the arrows pointing either forward or backward, and roughly scrape it to 55%. Personally, I think the forward-facing arrows have a better in-game feel. The glittery look stays really clean!
Big Red Flower
For this special big red flower, the autograph version of zorte works better! Thanks to the way his signature is designed, the hooked stroke looks more like the flower’s stamen. If you use five of them and arrange them in a rotating pattern, you can complete the big red flower craft.
ZywOo
The explosive ZywOo look works great on a solid-color rifle body. You’re saying ZywOo already put on a green jersey? No, no, not that one. That one got the script for MIBR's Avengers 3 roster: five players caught Thanos (MIBR), but because the undisciplined Star-Lord got too aggressive with a huge lead and smashed Thanos with the rifle stock, Thanos (MIBR) came back to life and sent them home. Sure, MIBR's Avengers 4 roster (the next Major) will definitely come back and reclaim everything that belongs to them... cough, cough. What we mean here is the sticker-version ZywOo. You’ll need P250 | Supernova, AWP | Lightning Strike, and MP7 | Blitz. Put P250 | Supernova in the middle, then apply AWP | Lightning Strike and MP7 | Blitz from the inside out.
The rifle is wrapped in crackling, explosive energy!
USP-S | Lead Conduit
Maybe a more hard-hitting sticker craft can give you a different in-game feel? You’ll need a few Sticker | Blast-off (Glitter); scrape to reveal the Easter egg, then place them on the rifle body and let that aggressive look loose in-game.
