Skin Makeover Plan: How can AWP skin scopes be paired to look better?
There are all kinds of AWP skins in the game, and different skins pair with different scope designs. For example, there are pattern-based skin setups with no scope artwork, as well as custom hand-drawn-style skins with different scope designs. So if you want to DIY a personalized combo for your favorite AWP scope, where should you start? Below are a few directions organized by color and visual traits. The skins you can pair them with are not limited to the examples shown here, either. Use these examples as a starting point and you can dig up plenty of other Sticker ideas. Let’s take a look~
Simple Craft
Solid Color Scope (White)
Take the Printstream skin, for example. You’ll notice the scope isn’t pure white or pure black; there’s a black texture on the white scope body. So if you want to make a pure white scope, how do you do it? The Sticker used for the craft needs two things: first, the color has to be fairly clean; second, the shape needs to be regular enough, and the sticker area needs to be large enough. For this setup, use the Stickers Cuccu and IEM (Holo) | Rio 2022. Two Cuccu stickers clean up the back of the scope, while three IEM (Holo) | Rio 2022 stickers dress up the front. You’ll need to scrape out the sticker Easter egg effect.
The scraped IEM looks a bit whiter, while the hidden Sticker detail on Cuccu leans more gray and also includes a text easter egg.
Solid Color Scope (Black)
Printstream is built around a black-and-white palette, and some players want to make a pure black scope. So how do you build a black scope setup? Pick a few oSee (Glitter) | Rio 2022 Stickers. Prioritize affordable ones that match the colors. Some team logos have very clear colors, like red FaZe or yellow NAVI. Here, we’re going with the white-logo Sticker of G2 pro snax: a black background with a white signature. Four Stickers cover the front and back of the scope.
Solid-Color Scope (Other Colors)
So how do you make scope crafts in colors beyond black and white? Here, let’s use the green Driver Gloves | Sidewinder skin as an example. A green finish paired with a green scope setup calls for Rio 2022 Stickers! The square Rio Stickers come in a wide range of colors, and different teams and players have different backgrounds based on their logo colors. So for this kind of craft, you’ll want to pick Rio 2022 Stickers with colors that sit close to the skin.
Imitating Complex Pattern Scope Crafts
Some pattern-based skins, such as Cats and Dogs Sticker Capsule, feature complex little animal designs that can change. The different kitty and doggo looks come in different colors, and the patterns are not fixed, so the skin can look a bit busy. For this setup, use the Sticker MOUZ to dress up the black scope. There is no fixed placement method here; just apply a few MOUZ stickers wherever you like. Besides the skin’s own pattern variation, the complex designs players build with crafts can have pattern variation too!

Complex Combos
Pattern Scope
The skin Operation Breakout has a detailed background and a green palette. The body shows mutant rats trying to escape a contaminated fluorescent green forest, so it works perfectly with green Elemental Craft Stickers. Add the Glitter versions of Orbit Mk01 and Detonator to build a toxic gas leak effect. The Stickers have a lot of visual punch and give the skin a different feel. By the same logic, the Operation Wildfire skin can also use flame Stickers to dress up the scope!
Textured Scope
You can build different scope crafts around a skin’s colors and background textures. Take this purple-toned Oni Taiji, for example. It pairs purple and red, with a gradient color background around the scope. In that case, go for the purple-and-red gradient Sticker Balance. This Sticker has its own texture, so place it along the skin’s color flow to dress up the scope.
Holo Scope Crafts (Solid-Color Background Skins)
You can use Holo Stickers to make a “color-shifting” scope. Take this pink skin Krakow 2017, for example. The weapon body is built around pink and purple, so this craft uses the Holo Sticker Frag Out, which has more pink and purple in its color-shift range. Since the Sticker has an irregular shape, you can use several Frag Out stickers to wrap around the scope.
Holo Scope (Complex Color Background)
For busy, colorful patterns, like the AWP | Neo-Noir, where the body has a pink-to-blue gradient plus black-and-white texture work, you’ll want Stickers with more detailed textures and saturated color shifts to dress up the scope. A good example is the Sticker Hungry in Smoke. Its background is made of dense, detailed smoke, so pick up a few copies, rotate them, and place them around the scope.
