Skin Makeover Project #10: M4A1-S | Leaded Glass
In the comments on our previous sticker craft posts, someone asked: how do you make the M4A1-S | Leaded Glass look good with stickers? Ask and you shall receive—today we’re rounding up some standout crafts for this skin! It’s a classic old-school finish, and what makes it special is that almost the entire rifle is covered by the pattern except for the fishbone spot. So let’s start from that unpainted fishbone area and use it to boost the whole skin’s look. We’ll skip the basic Rio 2022 color-cover setups and check out some other stickers that work well for crafting!
Color Series:
Yellow-Blue Combo
One of the most classic crafts. The main palette of M4A1-S | Leaded Glass is yellow and blue, so you can build around the equally yellow-and-blue sticker Sticker | Pecking Order. What, the legendary IGL chicken is involved too? Pick five Sticker | Pecking Order stickers and apply them in alternating opposite directions—the matching stickers accent the skin’s matching color scheme perfectly.
Blue-Focused
The latest in-game sticker update added a square blue sticker, Sticker | Eye Contact. It uses a blue sky as the background, with a little yellow chick and clouds as accents. Since the sticker has a much larger blue area than yellow and the design itself is fairly large, you only need three of them to cover that side section of the M4A1-S.
Flame-Focused Colorway
This craft uses four Broken Fang stickers. Alternate them front to back to dress up the fishbone spot. Since the Broken Fang sticker has a fairly large design, four are enough to fully cover that area, and the flame-like orange stickers fill the fishbone spot completely.
Gold-focused
If you prefer a gold-toned colorway, give this craft a try. This skin uses four gold Sticker | Stone Scales stickers. Applied in alternating directions, the four gold Sticker | Stone Scales stickers cover that side section of the rifle, and the sticker’s golden sheen really comes through under the light.
Holo Colors
A holo rainbow fishbone craft. This setup lets you build a color-shifting fishbone look by using five Sticker | Frag Out! stickers and alternating their front and back orientation. The holo flames end up covering the front side perfectly.
Pattern Series:
Little Fire Dragon
A burning mini fire dragon, placed perfectly on the fishbone spot. You’ll need one copy of Sticker | Baby Dragon and three copies of Sticker | Flamethrower. Alternate the Sticker | Flamethrower stickers forward and backward to build the mini fire dragon’s body, then use Sticker | Baby Dragon as the head, making the fishbone spot look like a mini fire dragon. Since Sticker | Flamethrower is a Holo sticker, its built-in holo effect reads like burning flames.
NAVI Wrap Craft
Use yellow-toned NAVI stickers on the fishbone spot to create a wrap effect. Pick five NAVI stickers; this setup uses Copenhagen 2024 Holo stickers (large-logo style). Apply them in a strip so they look like a bandage wrapped around the fishbone spot. Holo stickers have a color-shifting effect, and different versions shift through different ranges, so you can choose the color shift you like best. Also, Copenhagen 2024 player autograph stickers (Holo) have the same color-shift effect as the Holo team logos, so you can use the cheaper player autograph stickers as a budget substitute.
Bone Beast Incoming
This sticker craft uses a sticker Easter egg as its base — The Broken Fang Collection and The Predator Collection. The core setup is simple: place Sticker | Stalking Prey from The Broken Fang Collection in the center, then pair it with matching direction-facing Predator stickers on the sides. That said, the fishbone spot is relatively small, so these Predator stickers sit pretty tight there. The Predator Collection gives you quite a few sticker options, so you can pick whichever Predator you like best.
