Team Falcons and FURIA headline the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 participant list

Thunderpick World Championship 2026 has officially revealed its full team list. The event will run from October 14 to 18 at the BLAST Arena studio in Malta, with eight teams competing for a $1 million prize pool.

This will also be one of the last key chances for teams to earn Valve Regional Standings points before the BLAST.tv Singapore Major 2025 invite cutoff on November 2.

Falcons and defending champion FURIA will headline the event, and they are the only two top-five teams in the world in the field. Beyond them, Legacy, fresh off winning the FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 title, and Aurora bring the total to four top-10 teams at this event.

South American team 9z and the two Russian teams BETBOOM and PARIVISION have also received invites to the event.

The final spot went to Virtus.pro. They made it through the closed qualifier and, with this qualification, broke into the global top 30 in the VRS.

This will also be Virtus.pro's first major international LAN event since IEM Chengdu 2025. On the current roster, only b1st and tO0RO remain from that lineup.

This edition of the Thunderpick World Championship will begin with two double-elimination groups, with two teams from each group advancing to the top four before moving into a single-elimination playoff bracket.

Aside from the grand final, which will be BO5, all other matches will be BO3.

The participating teams for Thunderpick World Championship 2026 are as follows:
